Especially designed for the youngsters.

The special ergonomy of small children has been considered and tested from the beginning of our development. Maximum safety for the first driving experience has been a major goal for us.

We equipped the SiNUS NANO with a safety belt, installed the rotating tires out of unintentional contact and added an ergonomic and sporty steering wheel.

The SiNUS NANO can be autonomously operated even on smaller areas, indoor as outdoor. The very small turning radius and the incredibly easy steering make it possible.

The battery capacity allows operation for a complete day without the need of recharging. When it comes to charging you can choose between changing the battery or charge by direct connection to the charger plug on the battery.

What could be more fun than being able to drive mummy or daddy around, knowing that they can take over the control if necessary?

Mobile APP and LCD Display

With help of the NANO APP you as operator/owner are able to control or adjust plenty of functions e. g. unlocking the electronic rear cover lock just with one click. The handling is very easy.

The LCD display shows the battery status and the remaining driving time.

LED Lights and Lightshow

Big LED front and back lights in driving mode alternate with an attention arousing lightshow while waiting for customers.

All lights are freely programmable by the operator with „our“ mobile APP.

RIMO SHOP ACCESS OVER FACEBOOK.

the rimo-shop is just a click away from our facebook page

Starting from this year facebook adds a new service to it´s user pages. Now external services can be directly linked to companies. We are joining that new feature and so do you - if you remember missing spare parts while surfing our facebook page they are just a click away.

The ALpha² is equipped with LED lights - just like the Sinus ion.

The Michael Schumacher Kart & Event-Center is the first kart facility equipped with LED front-, as well as backlights. The electric power is provided by the engine´s altinatorcoil to the power saving LED lights.
This light system provides more attention to the kart, informs following drivers about braking situations and ensures more safety to every driver.
A contact switch between frame and axle cover keeps the ALPHA² as maintenance friendly as you know it.

2014 | TIME FOR THE NEW  SiNUS iON and ALPHA² TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY.

RiMO Transportgeräte GmbH & Co. KG, WERK II becomes RiMO GERMANY GmbH & Co. KG.
Dipl.-Ing. Peter Bertram - who has been the works manager for many years (and part of the company for 20 years) - acquires the business area along with the property and takes over the permanent staff.  2 new models are launched on the market in parallel with the company take-over.

The new RiMO SiNUS iON appears on the scene and immediately plays its way into the heart of the people interested in  electric karts. The electrifying design and new features, such as the integrated WLAN module for fleet controlling and monitoring, the LED headlights and paddies especially designed for the use of the karts with plastic guidance systems, are unparalleled.

2012 | The New EVO6 ARRIVES – THE SINUS BISYNCHRON COMES EQUIPPED WITH SOUND MODULE AND NEW BMS

RiMO EVO6 logo
RiMO EVO6 go-kart
The EVO model experiences a lot of changes: A re-engineered drive shaft mounting including new axle bearing housings. A new silencer system featuring an even more powerful sound.  The aluminium petrol tank is replaced by a new and lighter plastic tank.  Thanks to these and further measures, the EVO6 weighs 6 kg less than its predecessor.

RiMO develops an own, redundant, hydraulic dual-circuit braking system - which is unique on the kart market - for DOT 5* brake fluid.

The portfolio of RiMO SiNUS biSynchron is perfected by the new RiMO BMS* including monitoring software and the new on-board sound.

2011 | THE NEW SiNUS BISYNCHRON AS WELL AS  SiNUS MiNi and SiNUS TWiN MODELS ARE LAUNCHED

RiMO SiNUS biSynchron go-kart
The revolutionary SiNUS biSynchron concept is ahead of its time. Being introduced to the market after a one-year development only, the kart fulfils the entire ambitious agenda of 2010.

LiFeMnPO4 batteries with BMS* are used for the first time
  • The use of 100 Ah LiFeMnPO4 batteries allows for one-hour independence of the kart
  • The 100 A charger recharges the batteries within 60 minutes only
  • The RACS* allows for constant and monitored cooling of the batteries.
  • The weight compensation system for up to 30 kg is integrated into the sidepods and allows for long-term races (24h Race of Cologne)
The SiNUS MiNi and SiNUS TWiN models are introduced in parallel with the SiNUS biSynchron.  Of course they are equally equipped with dual motor drive.

2010 | ALPHAE BISYNCHRON TO BE EQUIPPED WITH BI SYNCHRON DRIVE

RiMO alpha e bisynchron go-kart
The customer is king. This also applies to this case. The market’s targets for a cost-effective operation of the electric kart fleet in 2010 are as follows:

  • One-hour independence of the karts
  • Short charging time (not exceeding the driving time, if possible)
  • Quiet operation (due to the stricter noise emission standards)
  • Reliable and affordable technology

Additionally, there is an increasing demand for kart comfort and higher, more aesthetic sensibility.

The RiMO solution until 2010:

  • Shared drive shaft (highest driving comfort and dynamics)
  • The permanent-magnet synchronous motors used produce hardly any noise and do not cause particle pollution
  • German drive technology ensures reliable operation

2009 | THE RIMO MINI AND RIMO SLALOM KART GET A FACELIFT

RiMO Slalom go-kart
The body parts of the EVO5 are now used for the RiMO MiNi as well.  Thus, the RiMO children’s kart also joins the new visual appearance of RiMO.

The RiMO Slalom Kart for ADAC Slalom Races also gets new bodywork and a new design, whilst the parts are offered by the family as well: The axle and motor covers come from the EVO.

2008 | AT IKA2000, RIMO REVEALS THE EVO5 AND THE FIRST RIMO ELECTRIC KART: ALPHAE

RiMO EVO5 go-kart
1 year after the alpha, it is time for the EVO to get new bodywork as well

As this emerging segment does not provide any references at that time, it is our turn to do the pioneering work.  The proper battery technology and drive as well as the on-board electronics and engine control system have to be found and matched to each other.

Years of basic research

The development work started in 2007 led RiMO to - from today’s point of view - rather conventional drive solutions with DC motor, toothed belt drive, 1 drive shaft and lead-acid batteries.

2007 | THE NEW KART DIMENSION: RIMO ALPHA IS REVEALED AT IKA2000

RiMO alpha go-kart
The new RiMO kart grows with the people using it and their new demands.  Besides the newly gained legroom, the kart offers a variety of innovations:
  • New frame
  • Motor plate permanently welded to the frame
  • Toothed belt tensioner
  • Quick release for easy kart maintenance
  • Seat adjustment by 120 mm
  • New looks thanks to new bodywork available in 4 colours
  • Customised decals

2002 | START OF THE 4TH EVOLUTIONARY PHASE

Michael Schumacher in a RiMO EVO
World class

Sportsmen aiming at top performance also put emphasis on top material.
It is the same with Michael Schumacher.  The seven-time Formula One World Champion early recognised the potential and quality of RiMO karts and has been placing his trust in our products for 15 years now.

The result is a close and trustful relationship with winners on both sides.
While it is our endeavour to provide the best material only, it is the kart track operator’s major goal to obtain reliable, cost-effective and visually attractive products.  Considering these aspects, consistently market-oriented solutions have been developed since the RiMO EVO 1, resulting in the latest RiMO SiNUS iON.  Trust in our world-class material and opt for the best.

1999 | EXPANSION OF THE COMPANY TO RIMO WERK 2 IN SUNDERN

RiMO Werk 2 starts with the construction and production of rental karts.
Thanks to motor-racing legends like Michael Schumacher, the 1990s create an unexpected boom in kart racing – the mother of all motor sports.  Hundreds of kart tracks are opened in Germany, Europe and all over the world.  The enthusiasm for this affordable and captivating motorsport also provides an increasingly colourful,
international range of karts for racing and rental activities. The first RiMO BK-1 vehicles are initially developed as components and later as complete karts.  The high quality of the karts, which are completely manufactured at RiMO and bear the TÜV seal of approval, quickly becomes the topic of discussion in the market.  The rest is history.
